1. Expanship is not a government agency

Expanship is a privately owned company. We are not a government agency, government department, company registry, regulator, or any other public body, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, appointed by, sponsored by, or acting on behalf of any government, government agency, company registry, or regulator in any country. This website is not a government website.

Company registrations, incorporation certificates, certificates of good standing, registers, apostilles, licences, tax identification numbers, and all other official documents are granted and issued solely by the competent government authority, in its sole discretion and on its own timeline. Expanship does not grant, issue, approve, certify, or expedite any government document or decision.

Where you engage us, we act as your agent: we prepare paperwork, submit filings through the channels each jurisdiction requires, follow up with the authority, and deliver the resulting documents to you. Government, registry, and third-party fees are set by those parties, are charged separately from our service fees, and are subject to change without notice.

In several jurisdictions we serve, the registry does not accept applications directly from the public and filings must be made by a licensed intermediary. Where that is the case, engaging a provider is a requirement of local law, not a substitute for a service you could obtain yourself from the government.

2. No legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice

Expanship is a technology-enabled corporate services company. We are not a law firm, an accounting firm, an audit firm, a licensed tax adviser, a financial adviser, or an investment adviser, and no member of our team is acting as your attorney, accountant, auditor, tax adviser, or financial adviser.

All content on this website — including service pages, pricing pages, guides, blog articles, comparison tables, checklists, calculators, downloadable materials, and AI-assisted or automated content — is general information published for educational purposes only.

Expanship does not itself hold a registered agent licence, corporate service provider licence, trust or company service provider licence, or any equivalent authorisation in the jurisdictions featured on this website.

Regulated work is performed by duly licensed providers who are authorised and supervised by the competent regulator in the relevant jurisdiction. Expanship acts as your intermediary and coordinator: we scope the engagement, run our own onboarding and due diligence, prepare and check documentation, instruct the licensed provider on your behalf, and manage the process end to end so that you have a single point of contact.

Expanship is not a bank, a payment institution, an electronic money institution, a securities firm, or any other financial institution. We do not provide banking, payment, custody, lending, or investment services. Where we assist with bank or payment account applications, we prepare and coordinate the application only; the decision to open, refuse, restrict, or close an account rests solely with the institution concerned, and no timeline or outcome is guaranteed.

4. Availability, eligibility, and no guarantee of outcome

Expanship’s services, packages, jurisdictions, and prices may not be available to all customers or in all countries, and may be modified, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

Every engagement is subject to eligibility criteria, our internal onboarding and due diligence review, KYC and AML requirements, sanctions and politically exposed person screening, the requirements of our licensed partners, and applicable law. We may decline, suspend, or terminate any engagement at our discretion, including where an engagement would expose us or our partners to legal, regulatory, or reputational risk. Restrictions on eligibility and on prohibited industries are set out in our Terms of Service.
